Orissa host major Indian meetings

In May, India will stage the Geominetech Symposium, the 5th Indian Conference on Computer Applications in Mineral Industries (ICCAMI) and associated events, Hotel Swosti Plaza Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The events begin on May 8 & 9 with Pre Conference Tutorials by IIT /ISM Professors & RRL/CMRI Scientists. ICCAMI will be held on May 10 to 11 and then on May 11-12 it is the Geominetech Symposium focussing on New Equipment - New Technology Management & Safety in Mines and Mineral based Industries, coinciding with National Technology Day celebrations.

The pre-conference tutorials are offered on geostatistics, mine srveying, ventilation, computer applications, coal/mineral beneficiations, rock mechanics and support systems.
